Users of Older Browsers
In order to securely log in to the "Bear Path" you will have to be using a browser that can handle secure transactions.  Netscape 4.7 and above and other Mozilla-based browsers like Firefox, Opera, and Chimera but not Netscape 6.0 or 6.1 and Internet Explorer versions 4.0 and higher support the level of security and features required. Concordia-issued computers have the correct versions installed.
Users of Newer Browsers
Internet Explorer version 7 works with this site but will require you to add it to your list of "trusted sites". To do this click the "Tools" drop-list button near the upper-right corner of the screen and select "Internet Options". Then click the "Security" tab followed by the "Trusted sites" green check mark. In the text box type, "" and click the "Add" button. It doesn't matter if the check-box is filled. Finish by clicking "Close" and then "OK".
SSL security requires a "certificate" file from a trusted source. Some recent browsers may give warning messages unless you import the certificate in the following link. After clicking it select "Open", then "Install Certificate", "Next", "Next", "Finish", "OK". Please contact the Helpdesk if you have any problems.
